A Tritec wire with 7-fold twisted conductors offers several advantages:

1. Flexibility and bendability:
The Tritec twisting of the individual wires gives the conductor greater flexibility. This makes handling easier compared to similar cross-sections of a single wire.

2. increased current carrying capacity:
The 7-fold twisted conductors of the Tritec coils have a higher effective cross-sectional area of the conductor. This means that a conductor twisted with 7 wires can carry a higher current than a single wire without overheating.

3. reduction of skin effect:
The skin effect is a phenomenon in which the alternating current tends to flow more along the surface of a conductor. By twisting the wires, the surface area of the conductor is increased, reducing the skin effect and distributing the current more evenly across the conductor.
